Same team. 3x the data.

BehaviorFlow makes clinically rigorous ABA simple enough for anyone to use - without ever simplifying the science.

Real results in real classrooms

Great programs depend on good data - but collecting and graphing it consistently can quickly fall apart under the demands of a real school day. Without timely data, educators are left making critical instructional decisions without the information they need. BehaviorFlow makes daily data collection easier to sustain, giving educators better information to make better decisions for their students.

From program setup to better decisions - all in one place

BehaviorFlow fits into the way your program already works: set up what you want to teach, collect data as instruction happens, and turn that data into graphs and reports automatically.

  1. Set up programs in minutes, not weeks

Start with flexible templates built for the programs you actually run, then customize them to fit each student. Save frequently used programs to your organization’s Program Library, so your team can reuse what works instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

Editing a program on the web: the bedroom tasks of the Cleaning Rooms task analysis, from picking up clothes from the floor to putting toys away, with tabs for the bathroom, kitchen and living room
The written program for Cleaning Rooms on the web: a skill acquisition program, its operational definition for completing each step of the room-cleaning task analysis, and its measurement, per opportunity, with measurement notes
  2. Stay present. BehaviorFlow keeps up.

Everything you need during instruction - programs, data collection, schedules, motivational systems, timers and more - lives together on one easy-to-navigate screen. Collect rigorous data as teaching happens, without juggling clipboards, loose data sheets, or stopping to catch up later.

Collecting data on the web: the data entry dialog for the bedroom steps of Ron S’s Cleaning Rooms program, each step scored plus or minus for a total of 83%, with notes beside it and the date, type and subtype below
Collecting data on the iPad: scoring the bedroom steps of Ron S’s Cleaning Rooms program plus or minus, from picking up clothes to vacuuming, for a total of 83%, with the date, type and notes below
  3. Turn today’s data into tomorrow’s decisions

As data is collected, BehaviorFlow turns it into clear, customizable graphs - automatically. Review progress, spot trends, and generate reports for one student or your entire organization without chasing down data from classrooms, binders, or spreadsheets.

The data summary on the web: Ron S’s discrete trial program on the 11 to 20 set, each target’s trials scored plus or minus by date, with each session’s percent correct below climbing from 30% to 100%
A page of a PDF progress report from BehaviorFlow: Ron S’s discrete trial data table, each week’s entries, range and average percent correct for the 11 to 20 and 21 to 30 sets

Your whole classroom. One screen.

See every student and collect across programs without losing sight of the room. BehaviorFlow puts everything you need right in front of you, so data collection can move at the speed of instruction.

The multi-data view on the iPad: a class’s students down the side with Ron S selected, and his programs grouped as active, priority, due today, completed and other: a frequency count with its timer under active, then an activity schedule, a discrete trial and a task analysis due today, each with its scoring controls beside it
  1. Every student, one tap away

Jump between students instantly without shuffling through screens or data sheets.

  2. Your next programs, already prioritized

Programs automatically organize by what’s active, prioritized, due today, or already completed.

  3. Always ready for the next data point

No matter the program or measurement type, the next scoring opportunity is ready when you are.

Built by people who know the work.

We sweat the details because we understand why they matter.

BehaviorFlow was built by educators and behavior analysts with decades of real-world ABA experience. Every workflow is designed around what actually happens there - and reviewed with doctoral-level clinical expertise to make sure that making ABA easier never means compromising the science.

  • Dan McFadden

    Founder, Head of Reinforcement

After nearly a decade in ABA classrooms, Dan left teaching in 2018 to build BehaviorFlow. It's his love letter back to the community.

  • Kevin Brothers, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Executive Director, Somerset Hills Learning Institute

Kevin has spent more than three decades building and leading rigorous ABA programs. His standards and feedback have helped shape BehaviorFlow around what exceptional ABA looks like in practice.

  • Briana Ostrosky, Ph.D., BCBA-D

    Behavior Analyst & Clinical Consultant

Briana has helped guide BehaviorFlow’s clinical development from its earliest days, ensuring every program and feature stays true to the science and standards of ABA.

In their words

BehaviorFlow increases the efficiency of designing and implementing individualized programs from start to finish, automatically calculating and graphing all data in session.

Briana Ostrosky, Ph.D., BCBA-DBehavior Analyst & Clinical Consultant

BehaviorFlow has been an all-inclusive app for us. We use it for every angle of our learner’s instruction.

Kasey Ross, BCBAABA Educator and Consultant

The program is DEEPLY rooted in applied behavior analysis, yet allows teachers who may not have a strong background in ABA include the research based elements into their programming.

Kristen Goracy, BCBAPublic School ABA Educator

Guys, this app from BehaviorFlow is amazing for tracking behavior data!! This is amazing!!! Finally!!

Questions? We’ve got answers.

  1. How long does it take to get started?

Most organizations roll out BehaviorFlow over one to three months, but we can move much faster when needed. If your team is ready to go, we can have you up and running in as little as a week.

  2. Can paraprofessionals and support staff collect data?

Absolutely. BehaviorFlow was designed to make sophisticated data collection simple for the people actually collecting it. New staff can learn the basics quickly, while BCBAs still have the flexibility and clinical rigor they need behind the scenes.

  3. Can BehaviorFlow handle the programs we already use?

Yes. We’ve worked directly with organizations to bring their existing curricula and program libraries into BehaviorFlow. For everything else, programs are easy to recreate and save as reusable templates, so your team can pull, customize, and assign them to students without starting from scratch each time.

  4. Does BehaviorFlow work on both web and iPad?

Yes. BehaviorFlow works on both web and iPad, with the full platform available on either. Many teams use the web for the work that used to happen in binders - setting up programs, reviewing graphs, and generating reports - and the iPad for the data collection that used to happen on clipboards during instruction.

  5. Is student data secure?

Yes. BehaviorFlow is designed to protect student data with secure infrastructure and role-based access controls, so staff only see the students and information relevant to their work. We also minimize the identifying student information stored in BehaviorFlow. Read about security and privacy.

  6. Can BehaviorFlow support multiple classrooms, schools, or locations?

Yes. BehaviorFlow is built to scale from individual programs to multi-school organizations. Administrators can organize students and staff by classroom and location, control who has access to what, and review data across the organization from one place.

  7. What does BehaviorFlow cost?

BehaviorFlow starts at $600 per staff user per year, but we generally customize pricing around the needs of each organization, with additional savings for larger teams. Talk to us about what you need - we’ve made BehaviorFlow work for organizations of all types and sizes.

  8. Can we share progress with families?

Yes. BehaviorFlow makes it easy to generate clear, up-to-date reports for an individual student over whatever time period you need, so teams can share progress with families without manually pulling together data and graphs.
