← All Topics

This article explains how to accept an invitation to join a group (e.g. classroom) after you have been invited to do so. When you are invited to join a group, you will receive an email telling you that you’ve been invited. Once you receive that email, follow the steps below. This video shows the steps in the procedure below.

To accept an invitation:

  1. Log on to the BehaviorFlow app on your iPad.
  2. In the upper right hand corner, you will see a red notification button, indicating that you have a request in your inbox that you need to review. Tap the red button.
  3. Your account window will open. The “Requests” item will show the same red notification button. Tap on “Requests”.
  4. A window will appear showing that you have an outstanding Group Invitation. The window shows the group (e.g. classroom) that you’ve been invited to, the role that you’ve been assigned in that group, and the name of the administrator that sent you the request.
    1. In this example, you have been invited to join “SW Test Class” as a Teacher by the administrator “Ed McFadden”.
  5. Provided you agree that this is the group you want to be added to, tap “Join”. Tap Join  again within 5 seconds to confirm your choice.
  6. After a brief time, the window will disappear, indicating that your request has been completed.
  7. Tap the “hamburger” icon in the upper right corner, and press “My Dashboard”.
  8. You will return to your home screen. Pull down and release the screen, and the screen will refresh showing the newly added group.
  9. Tap on the group icon to access the group.
